Gentle Mates GC vs KRU Blaze Prediction, Odds, Best Bets - Valorant Game Changers Championship 2026

Gentle Mates GC have not lost a series in São Paulo, and KRU Blaze have won four straight elimination series to meet them in Sunday's Grand Final, about a day after a four-map Lower Final that ended in overtime on Ascent.

The Matchup

Sunday's Grand Final in São Paulo pairs the team that has not lost with the team that refuses to. Gentle Mates GC came through the upper bracket unbeaten: they swept Team Liquid Brazil, 13-6 on Split and 13-10 on Summit, swept MIBR GC, 13-4 on Ascent and 13-11 on Haven, and beat Shopify Rebellion Gold 2-1 in Friday's Upper Final, dropping Split 11-13 before closing Sunset 13-11 and Summit 13-10.

KRU Blaze took the long road. Shopify Rebellion Gold swept them on Tuesday, 13-7 on Lotus and 13-6 on Sunset, and KRU Blaze have won every series since: Team Liquid Brazil and MIBR GC in straight maps, then Saturday's Lower Final rematch with Shopify Rebellion Gold, 3-1, closed out 17-15 in overtime on Ascent. The two finalists have not met at this event. The winner is the Game Changers world champion.

Both teams start the five who have played every series for them at this event, with no stand-in reported on either side. Safia "safiaa" Leghzal, Martyna "Marti" Pabian, Emine "berryx" Çoban, Gülce Eda "Wens" Sürmeli and Iman "Nami" Nagaaoui start for Gentle Mates GC. none, Antônia "antG" Garcia, Isidora "ponix" Vásquez Muñoz, Micaela "micaela" Ferreyra and Amaro "tok1o" Miranda start for KRU Blaze.

Key Factors

The question hanging over Gentle Mates GC all week was whether their margin lived in too few chairs, and Friday answered it. Marti led them with 58 kills at a 228 ACS against Shopify Rebellion Gold, Nami added 56 kills at a 219 ACS, and berryx added 53 at a 217 ACS, three players within five kills of each other.

Wens, who put up 57 kills against Team Liquid Brazil in the quarterfinal, was their quietest player on Friday with 34, and Gentle Mates GC won anyway. Over a best of 5, a favorite that can win a map on its third-best player's game is hard to chase down, because there is no one player to scheme out of the series.

KRU Blaze's run runs through none, and Saturday showed both sides of that. She scored 80 kills at a 260 ACS across the four maps against Shopify Rebellion Gold, 24 percent of her team's kills, and closed the series with 28 kills on the overtime Ascent. tok1o added 69 kills and ponix 65, so the support is real. The cost is in the schedule.

KRU Blaze have played 13 maps at this event to Gentle Mates GC's 7, four of them on Saturday, the last one a 32-round overtime map, and they play for the title about a day later against a team that spent Saturday resting. KRU Blaze's one bad day in São Paulo is also instructive: when Shopify Rebellion Gold squeezed the chairs around none on Tuesday, ponix was held to 14 kills at a 0.51 rating and KRU Blaze won 13 rounds in two maps.

The honest counterpoint is that KRU Blaze are the team in form, and form has carried this whole week. They have won four straight elimination series, they avenged their only loss in Saturday's rematch, and none is playing at a level that can take a map off anyone in this building.

Gentle Mates GC have not been pushed to a deciding map in São Paulo, and nobody has seen how they respond when a series turns against them late. If KRU Blaze steal an early map and none gets comfortable, the favorites will be chasing a series for the first time all event.
